The help file opens but all that shows in the window is "The address is not valid".

OK, I've fixed this by putting the help file into a zip file - use this link in the post rather than in the first comment.

Problem with ActiveStock V8. When trying to create the stock list by clicking "Check for Orders" I receive error " Conversion from type 'DBNull' to type 'string' not valid. Looks like a problem with database. I have tried several stores including Actinic sample. Also tried on Vista + XP systems. Installation appears to work ok, perl files generated and upload ok.

When performing the "Check for Orders" task, ActiveStock reads the following data from your Actinic database: FTP Host, FTP User, FTP Password, FTPtoWebPath, bPassiveFTPMode. These fields are found in the tables "Setup2" and "Setup3" - if you can open the database in MS Access, please check that all these fields have a value - the "DBnull" error suggests one or more of them may be empty....
If this doesn't work, or you want some more info, please contact me on my MSN Messenger account at activestock@live.co.uk

You will get an error message along the lines of "Sorry, but this version of Active Stock has not been registered, please visit our website to purchase a copy" if you have installed ActiveStock before we have had a chance to register your website address on our 'licenced' list. This may take a little while if we're not available (e.g. over a weekend) as it's a manual task, so please wait until you have received a confirmation e-mail before installing the program.
